At Newton Primary School, Science encourages students to be curious, ask questions and explore the world around them.

Our specialist Science teacher works with students in our dedicated Science Laboratory, providing hands-on opportunities to investigate, experiment, problem-solve and make discoveries.

Students develop their understanding across Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth and Space Sciences and Physical Sciences, while building the inquiry skills and scientific thinking they need to understand and engage with an ever-changing world.
