At Newton Primary School, Mathematics helps students become confident and capable problem solvers.

Students develop their understanding across Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability. They learn to use mathematical thinking in practical, meaningful ways and build fluency with key skills and concepts.

We encourage students to explore, reason, make connections and explain their thinking, while developing confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.
